Currently, Asia is home to 28 captive killer whales across 6 facilities. 12 are on public display and the rest are being hidden from the public for facility development to finish.

14 killer whales currently live at Chimelong Spaceship and/or their holding facility(Hengqin Island). The facility has housed orcas since 2013 and the current stadium will likely open in 2023. 9 are captured and 4 are captive born.

2 killer whales currently live at Kobe Suma Sea World. The facility has housed orcas since 2024 and the current stadium has not yet opened. 1 is a captive born and the other is a captured individual.
Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium
2 killer whales currently live at the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium. The facility has housed orcas since 2003 and the current stadium opened in 2001. Both are captive born.
Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park
6 killer whales currently live at Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park. The facility has housed orcas since 2018 and the current stadium opened in the same year. 4 are captured and 2 are captive born.

Marineland Antibes
2 killer whales currently live at Marineland Antibes. The facility has housed orcas since 1970 and the current stadium opened in the 1990s. Both are captive born(1 inbred).
Moskvarium
1 killer whale currently lives at Moskvarium. The facility has housed orcas since 2013 and the current stadium opened in 2015. Naya is a captured individual.
