Baby Shamu II was a newborn killer whale who lived at SeaWorld San Diego. She died on the 16th of January, 1986.
A Short Life
Kenau went into labor with her first calf on the 5th of January, 1986, with the sire being Winston. The calf, dubbed "Baby Shamu II" after the original whale born a few months earlier, was their only orca born between the pair and the only whale to be born in the current day "Dolphin Amphitheater".
At around 9:30 am on the 16th of January, 1986, Baby Shamu II died.[1]
